Scout Builds Bridge in Hopkinton

At SVT's Whitehall Woods in Hopkinton, Boy Scout Ashwath Sridhar has completed the installation of a bridge over a muddy section of trail.

Ash initiated and managed the installation for his Eagle Project. He worked with members of the New England Mountain Bike Association and Bay State Trail Riders Association to design a bridge that can support not only hikers but also bike riders and horseback riders. Now, it’s much easier to cross a section of the trail that is often flooded.
