Wolbach "Big Sit" Birdwatching Event

SVT, the Boston Birding Festival, and Boxborough Birders invite you to the first-ever "Big Sit" Birding Event at Wolbach Farm.

On Sunday, June 1, birders will be stationed at the Wolbach Farm Barn, keeping count of the birds that forage, display, and nest in the fields. Everyone is invited to join this first-ever community birdwatching experience at Wolbach Farm!

Morning session: 5:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Evening session: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 

What to bring: Bring binoculars and a comfy lawn chair and settle in for a fun and relaxing day of birdwatching. We'll have field guides on hand to help with identification. Refreshments will be available throughout the event.

Don't have binoculars? No problem. SVT has a few pairs of binoculars to share.

The evening session also includes a bird and nature-themed book sale & swap. Bring a book or two to share. 

Accessible parking available at main lot and barn. Barn is accessible for those with mobility devices.

The event is free, but registration is requested so we can plan refreshments and parking
