SVT Renews National Accreditation

The SVT staff has received the good news that our accreditation has been renewed. First accredited by the national Land Trust Alliance Commission (LTAC) in 2013, we have now successfully renewed our accreditation twice, in 2018 and 2024. 

Accreditation and renewal both involve a rigorous process that includes a comprehensive evaluation of our policies, procedures, and practices. By renewing SVT’s accreditation, LTAC signified that it is confident that the lands we conserve will be protected forever.

Our accreditation also assures other groups and landowners that they can rely upon SVT to be a strong conservation partner.

“We are proud to be an accredited land trust,” said Lindsey Ketchel, SVT Executive Director. "Our accreditation demonstrates that SVT adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards and that we are committed to permanently protecting lands in this region of Massachusetts."
