Steve from Stow photographed this bald eagle. Steve contacted MassWildlife to share the images of the eagle's tags and learned that this bald eagle was banded in or before 2017. Since that time, MassWildlife only uses orange plastic bands on the left legs of banded eagles. This bird's band is a faded gold band used up until 2017.
