The well-designed path and Picnic Groves blend beautifully into the rural setting.

SVT’s new All Persons’ Trail at Wolbach Farm is well underway. We’ve created the Accessible Path across the lawn, and we’ve also placed the foundations for two new accessible Picnic Groves.

The well-designed path blends beautifully into the surroundings to maintain the rural nature of the landscape. When the path is completed, people who rely on mobility devices, walkers, and strollers will find it easier to enjoy the delightful grounds at this Sudbury property.

On May 21, we held a Trail Laying Ceremony to introduce the project to local officials and partners, and we expect to hold a ribbon cutting for the Accessible Path later this summer. In 2026, we will also add an All Persons’ Trail that runs 1,200 feet into the woods and invites more people to explore the forest, enjoy the sounds of nature, and observe the wildlife of this woodland setting.

You can be part of this project! SVT is now offering naming opportunities for sections of the path as well as benches, rest stops, and picnic groves. Please contact Cecil Hynds-Riddle at [email protected] or 978-443-558 x111 to learn more.
