Cecil Hynds-Riddle Named Director of Development
SVT welcomes Cecil Hynds-Riddle as our new Director of Development. Cecil replaces Grace Fauver, who retired on October 19.
Cecil comes to SVT with nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. At SVT, she will oversee fundraising, supporter relations, community engagement, and communications.
"Cecil is a wonderful addition to our team," commented Lindsey Ketchel, SVT Executive Director. “She brings an amazing background in stewardship and development, with a deep commitment to community conservation. Her leadership and strategic approach will advance our ever-growing development needs, and I look forward to working with her.”
Most recently, Cecil served as Director of Philanthropy for The Abraham Foundation, which strives to protect threatened animals (both wild and domestic) around the globe. Her extensive career has also included stints as Director of Membership for Galápagos Conservancy, Development Officer for Northeastern Illinois University, and Community Organizer for Woods and Prairie Foundation.
"As a lifelong nature lover, I am so excited to help SVT conserve woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife,” said Cecil. “I am honored to work alongside such an incredible team, build upon our 70 years of incredible achievements for land stewardship and conservation, and engage new voices in our community."
Cecil holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing a Master’s in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University. A resident of Northborough, she is based out of our headquarters at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury.
