Boy Scout Supports Pollinators

Aidric Tschantz of Troop 12 in Framingham has completed his Eagle Project, “Plants for Pollinators,” at SVT's Cowassock Woods conservation area. 

Aidric designed a native pollinator garden for the property, and he installed it with the help of SVT Staff, SVT Preserve Stewards, Eversource, and volunteers that he recruited. The garden--which includes a bee hotel, bird houses, and a bench--is located along the trail in the open utility corridor that crosses part of Cowassock Woods. It's a great addition to this popular conservation area.
