Nature Play Area Community Forum

SVT seeks your input as we design an accessible Nature Play Area that will be open to the public year-round, free of charge.

SVT is creating a Nature Play Area at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury. 

Connected to our new All Persons' Trail, the Nature Play Area will provide a safe, free, and inviting space for children and caretakers of all abilities to enjoy nature together.

To ensure the play area meets the greatest needs, we welcome input from all members of the community. We want to hear from everyone--parents, caregivers, educators, or simply those who care about connecting kids of all abilities with the outdoors! Please take our Online Survey to share your ideas.

SVT also solicited input from area residents during a public forum on May 6, 2026, at Wolbach Farm. During the forum, we:

  • Introduced the concept for the Nature Play Area
  • Gathered ideas, hopes, and concerns from the community
  • Invited input on features, accessibility, educational installations, and more for this nature-focused play space

The forum was just the first step in gathering ideas that will lay the foundation for an exciting new Nature Play Area. We look forward to hearing many more suggestions in the responses to our Online Survey.
