On November 20, SVT will welcome Rosemary Mosco, science writer and naturalist, for a discussion about her newest book, The Birding Dictionary, which celebrates the birding obsession with hilarious definitions and illustrations of terms that birders know and love.
Conservationists Honored at Annual Meeting
During our 2025 Annual Meeting, SVT recognized several area volunteers, public officials, and other conservationists with our Annual Conservation Awards. We also presented the inaugural Trailblazer for Inclusion in the Outdoors Award.
Get Outside with SVT!
The cooler days of autumn offer a great time to explore a local trail or volunteer to help care for a conservation area. Plus, SVT is also planning lots of interesting new nature programs for the coming months: hikes, owls, mushrooms, poetry, books, crochet. . . there's something for everyone!
All Persons' Trail: Phase 1 Open!
On Thursday, July 24, state and local officials helped SVT cut the "ribbon" on the Farm Path and Picnic Grove portion of our accessible All Persons' Trail at Wolbach Farm. Phase 1 of the trail is now open for everyone to enjoy!
