CURRENT NEEDS
- Office Coverage: Variety of shifts, Mon-Fri are available. Primary responsibilities include assistance with mailings, organizing files, and answering phones.
- Invasive plant mapping at SVT Reservations. Work will begin in Spring 2009. We will provide training and technical support. Interested volunteers should have some plant identification experience and be willing to bush whack. We will start with Memorial Forest in Sudbury. {Mapping will be followed by invasive plant control field work.} Link to Volunteer Job Description. Contact Laura Mattei.
- We are recruiting adults in the communities of Framingham, Sudbury, Southborough, and Wayland to serve as Liaisons in our Youth Conservation Steward Program. Liaisons provide guidance and oversight to youths, aged 11 – 17 years old working on conservation projects with SVT. These projects involve trail work, habitat restoration, environmental education, etc. The orientation and training is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10th (evening).
