SVT Accepts CR on Sweet Autumn Farm

On December 15, SVT permanently protected Sweet Autumn Farm in Carlisle with a conservation restriction (CR). The owner generously donated the CR over 12.8 acres of the approximately 14-acre property to ensure the land could always be available for farming and able to provide local produce to the community. 

Many area residents may be familiar with Sweet Autumn Farm because of a farmstand on the property is open to the public seasonally. In addition, the farm also hosts classes through The Boston School of Herbal Studies.

Sweet Autumn Farm is located near Woodhaven Farm, which SVT and the Carlisle Conservation Foundation protected with a CR in 2016. The lands are part of an expansive corridor of open space that includes Estabrook Woods on the Carlisle-Concord line.
