A narrow-winged tree cricket Oecanthus niveus, male (photo above). These are identified by calling song and the orange patch on the insect’s nape. Male tree crickets show broad wings with structures for generating sound; the females wings are quite narrow. The males raise their wings and hold them forward when stridulating.
