Andy Cunningham photographed this northern saw-whet owl at Summer Star Wildlife Sanctuary in Boylston. The owl was recently released at the Sanctuary after spending two weeks at the Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine's Bernice Barbour Wildlife Clinic, after being found at a construction site in Worcester. See more photographs of the release on the Cummings School's blog. Summer Star Wildlife Sanctuary and the School's partnership will soon be highlighted in the Sanctuary's Cave Room, where visitors will be able to view a live feed from the School's raptor healing cage.
