Dan Foster submitted these photographs of a fisher in Carlisle taken with his automatically triggered wildlife camera.  He says of the animal:
"This fisher has been repeatedly visiting an opening in a snowy hillside near a house in Carlisle.  Every 5 days or so for the last two months, the fisher comes through the area and investigates the openings in the brush and rocks at the bottom of the hill.  The fisher has waited out at least one snowstorm here - we found fresh tracks leading in, but no tracks leading out until a day later.  We also found fur that could have been from a killed squirrel or rabbit."
