Cedar Swamp Outing

SVT's Laura Mattei (far right in photo) recently participated in a group walk at Cedar Swamp in Natick. Organized by the Massachusetts Municipal Association, the walk was co-led by Kristen Wyman of the Nipmuc Nation and by Waban Webquish of the Nipmuc Nation and Wampanoag Tribe.

Kristen and Waban explained how their Indigenous nations use cedar for many practical and ceremonial purposes.
