SVT seeks a new Executive Director to guide the organization as we pursue our mission to conserve natural areas and farmland in the 36 communities around the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers.
SVT seeks an accomplished leader who has a passion for this mission as well as a genuine and authentic connection to nature and the outdoors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability in strategic leadership, fundraising, staff management and development, collaborative ventures, and constituency building. Successful fundraising experience that includes securing major gifts and cultivating individual donors is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be both a strong and effective leader and have success fostering broad diversity and inclusion among the organization’s Staff, Board, supporters, volunteers, and visitors, thereby ensuring open and equal participation in the enjoyment of SVT’s properties. This individual must be confident and thoughtful and have the appropriate skills and presence to work effectively, collegially, and collaboratively across the state and region.
