Give Thanks for the Land 2020
If your Thanksgiving plans and traditions have been turned upside down for 2020, here is something to put on your calendar.
SVT traditionally hosts a Give Thanks for the Land walk during Thanksgiving weekend. While we cannot gather our members for a community walk this year, we can encourage everyone to tour our trails and join together in spirit.
This Thanksgiving season, take time to connect with nature by visiting one (or more) of the following SVT reservations. Look for a special greeting (after 11/20) from SVT by the trailhead at each of these properties:
- Mainstone Farm and Hamlen Woods, Wayland
- Horse Meadows Knoll, Harvard
- Memorial Forest, Sudbury
- Cedar Hill, Northborough
- Wolbach Farm, Sudbury (family-friendly trail with storybook stations)
Whether you want a fast-paced hike or a meditative stroll, the natural world feeds our souls in a special way. We hope that during the past months you have enjoyed our properties as a welcoming sanctuary and a place to appreciate the natural beauty around you.
Give Thanks for the Land 2020 Photo Collage
Let’s show the world that the SVT community can still stand together and Give Thanks for the Land.
In the spirit of community and togetherness, help us compile a Give Thanks for the Land Photo Collage. Snap a photo of yourself at the trail that we can add to the collage and post on SVT social media.
Email your photos to Debbie Pullen at [email protected]. We hope to see all your smiling faces!
If you would like to help care for SVT's 65 miles of trails, visit #GivingTuesday for the Trails. Your donation will be doubled thanks to $20,000 in matching grants!
