The Land Protection Committee works with SVT’s Land Protection Staff to lead the organization’s efforts to protect natural areas and farmland throughout the region. Description |
The Land Protection Committee reviews staff proposals for new land protection deals, monitors project budgets and performance, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to SVT’s land protection program. |

Skills needed |
We are seeking people with experience or interest in land conservation. Knowledge of real estate law and environmental law is a plus. |

Meeting Schedule |
The Land Protection Committee meets at least six times a year. |

Duration |
There are no term limits. Committee members are confirmed annually. |
