Guided Tour of Art on the Trails: Mending
Postponed to Thursday, July 22, 4 pm - 6 pm due to weather
The 2021 Art on the Trails: Mending outdoor art exhibit will showcase art projects that bring people together and heal. Like Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by joining the pieces with gold, and making the pottery stronger and more valuable in the process, artists were asked to consider how we can repair our fractured world through art and make our community and relationships stronger and more resilient. Join us for a guided tour of the exhibit with founder and director, artist Catherine Weber. Discover the pieces integrated along the trail.
Art on the Trails is a annual juried outdoor art exhibition and poetry program founded and directed by Catherine Weber, and hosted by the Southborough Open Land Foundation in Elaine and Philip Beals Preserve in Southborough, MA. On display June 13 to September 26.
