Support Healthy Habitats on Giving Tuesday

Why are these species threatened with extinction in Massachusetts?

     a)  They have lost habitat to residential and commercial development.
     b)  Their habitat has been fragmented by roadways.
     c)  Their habitat has been degraded by the spread of non-native invasive plants.

The answer, of course, is "all of the above." And when a species dies off, the ecological impacts can be widespread.

SVT is committed to conserving and restoring habitats to help wildlife thrive.

You Can Help!

Help protect the homes of endangered species on #GivingTuesday, November 29, 2016

SVT is dedicating #GivingTuesday, the global day of giving that offsets the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to the protection of rare species and the care of their habitats.

Your donation to SVT for our #GivingTuesday campaign will support Healthy Habitats for Rare Species of Massachusetts and will help us protect species that are endangered, threatened, or of special concern for extinction.

A generous SVT member has pledged to match every contribution up to $7500! Your gift will go twice as far in protecting habitat.
